Edward W. Duffy will be speaking on research for his book, Philadelphia Celebrates: Three Great Anniversaries – 1876 – 1926 – 1976 published in 2017. Ed was actively involved in the 1976 celebration as an employee of the City Commerce Department who did the actual day-to-day running of the Bicen events, particularly on the Parkway
This is an in-person meeting. There is usually meter parking available around the library at this time in the evening. There is also a pay parking lot behind the library.
The event is in a classroom accessed by the rear entrance to the library on Wood Street.
